Day 1: Arriving in Las Vegas, NV

Well, I’m officially on vacation for the next 11 days.

I worked until 2PM today, then got to the airport. My United flight arrived in LAS at 6:45PM. The temperature at home was in the 30’s, but here in Las Vegas it was 62 degrees.

This is my second trip out to Las Vegas this year, second time landing at LAS. I was just here in October for Femmoto. I love landing at LAS at night, so many lights. This this is actually my third trip out to Nevada this year, I rode through Nevada in March on my 954RR on my way back from California to Arizona.

This year has definitely been the year of duplicate destinations. I rode out to Pennsylvania and Upstate New York twice and Northwest Minnesota twice also. And now Las Vegas twice.

My friend Alex and his friends aren’t here yet, they won’t be here until next week, so I’m just going to crash at his place for tonight but then tomorrow I’m taking off for California.

After some pizza for dinner, my first real meal today, I was off to bed.

When is Alex due to show up? What kind of rental car? I once rented from Hertz, an S-type Jag with the Never Lost GPS, that was a blast. Hertz also rents Porsche...I did that one day also and drove up to Bakersfield.

The cheapest crap-box I could find, I'm not spending big $$$ on a rental cage :)

Alex will be in Vegas on the 27th
